Als Ausgangspunkt habe ich den Wanderparkplatz Katenkreuz gewählt. Die Runde verläuft durch schönen Kiefernwald, am Hotel Jammertal vorbei in Richtung Ahsen. In einem westlich verlaufenden Bogen geht es durch das Gernebachtal in Richtung Dummberg und zurück zum Wanderparkplatz. Dort liegt gegenüber der Campingplatz Haard-Camping mit dem Cafe Haard-Oase (MI - SO geöffnet).
