Gut zu laufende Tour. Bei Nässe könnte der Abstieg Richtung Hiltenburg etwas rutschig sein. Festes Schuhwerk und gutes Profil der Schuhsohle ist von Vorteil.
Die Hiltenburghütte des Albvereins hat nicht immer geöffnet. Eventuell vorab die Internetseite besuchen.
Eine schöne Möglichkeit für eine Rast bieten die Bänke am Albtrauf. Bei gutem Wetter mit schöner Aussicht, auch wenn es durch die Autobahn (Albaufstieg) ein kleines bisschen lauter ist.
