C2C - Day 5 Place Fell wild camp to Shap

This was my first foray in to the Far Eastern Fells and they didn't disappoint. The weather was again excellent and I took the opportunity to bag some Wrainrights that are not on the standard C2C route.
The trudge from High Raise to Loadpot offered excellent views both East and West but the walk, whilst easy terrain, was trudgy. The route down via Bampton Common was fairly easy going and soon arrived in Shap for a very cosy AirBnB at the aptly named Wrainrights Rest. Sadly the shape chippy is closed Monday 😔
