Crazy Weather Goods were toying with me today.
From sunny and humid till pending doom of black clouds rain and wind. The last occurred just when it was least convenient, and I was exposed on a dyke above Hollandse IJssel, with no shelter in sight.
Finally I found a bus stop and took shelter for an hour.
I continued through “polder” to discover that ferry back is operating only on Saturday and Sunday, what resulted in added 2-3 km.
Usually not an issue, but due to the heel blisters I was not so trilled by this.
Anyway, that last stretch of trip took me again though Gouda center, so I treated myself with an ice cream (wel deserved after 15k 😉), continued home, done the groceries.. and ordered new shoes 🤣🤣🤣 -as these are officially done.
