Am Anfang der Strecke geht es gleich ordentlich bergauf bis zum Spielplatz von Gut Holmecke. Oben angekommen verläuft die Strecke ziemlich eben bis ins Dorf Kesbern. Durch Kesbern durch an Weihnachtsbaumplantagen vorbei geht es endlich bergab auf teilen des Drahtwanderweges mit seinen markanten Drahtrollen bis zum Stertpunkt am Wasserwerk.
