Der Süntel ist ein bis zu 442,5 m. ü. NHN hoher Gebirgsstock im Weserbergland. Er erstreckt sich zwischen Hameln, Bad Münder und Hessisch Oldendorf. Der bewaldete Höhenzug ist besonders für seine bizarren Felsklippen (Hohenstein), die historische Radaranlage auf der Hohen Egge und seine sagenumwobenen Süntelbuchen bekannt.
