This is a Road ride with no gravelled lanes. Some of the road surfaces are a bit sketchy which Cheshire County Highways should be ashamed but this is definitely one of my favourites with minimal main roads & a great coffee at Manley Mere watersports. There are several climbs mainly of the long drag variety but everything is manageable for a reasonably fit rider.
