Headed to Glen Clova today. A later start as the weather was due to improve in the afternoon. Bagged one of the last parking spaces and headed through the forest to Corrie Fee. It's very picturesque once you get there, although the initial approach through the forestry isn't too exciting. We followed the path up along the waterfall, finding a scenice viewpoint for lunch. The clouds started to break up just as we approached Mayar's summit. It was quite windy up there, but the views were great. We decided to head across the bealach and scaled Driesh. The sky kept improving and the wind dropped slightly too. Tiny detour to Little Driesh on the ascent and chocolate break at the summit. The descent down the Kilbo path was lovely. Can see how people might slide down into the corrie in winter without crampons. Enjoyed the sun for a bit longer on one of the picnic benches beside the car park, before heading back.
