Beautiful clear day . Mild wind below but not much on top. Had the top to ourselves . Mostly a steady climb until the last 40 mins of a 2 hour walk from Walna Scar carpark. Beware of the narrow pot holes approach down the lane to rhe car park!
Bluebird was on Coniston this week but from where we were ,we could see the crowds but not Bl uebird.
