Diese ca. 13 Kilometer lange Rundtour startet am historischen Bahnhof Gruiten. Sie führt durch das denkmalgeschützte Dorf Gruiten mit seinen charakteristischen Fachwerkhäusern und folgt dann dem naturnahen Lauf der Düssel. Highlights sind die urigen Waldpfade im Neandertal, die Kalksteinbrüche und die entspannte Atmosphäre am Flussufer. Die Strecke ist überwiegend flach und gut begehbar, bietet aber viel Abwechslung zwischen Kulturgeschichte und Industrienatur. Perfekt für eine Auszeit im Grünen mit direkter Bahnanbindung.
