Die Ruine der Lobdeburg (die man von der A4 aus gut sieht)ist jetzt fertig restauriert und mit vielen Erklärungen beschildert. Unterhalb der Lobdeburg ist eine Gaststätte(Mi.-So. ab 12 Uhr geöffnet).Man kann durch Lobeda bis zu einem Parkplatz unterhalb der Gaststätte fahren. Allerdings ist der Weg zu Fuß auch sehr schön.
Die Kernberge mit der Saalehorizontale sind immer herrlich zu erwandern.
