Sehenswerte, ausgesprochen vielfältige Stadt in Westfinnland: alte und neue Architekturdenkmäler, unzählige Museen, Kirchen und Theater, Cafés und Restaurants. Besonders schön die vielen Bauten im Jugendstil. In der Markthalle lässt sich wunderbar essen und shoppen. Die finnischen Bibliotheken sind ganz besondere Orte, den ganzen Tag könnte man dort verbringen. Fast schon "Kathedralen". Die in Tampere gefiel uns besonders.
