Auf dem Rückweg sind wir teils über den Fußweg an der Steiküste gefahren. Wenn man rücksichtsvoll fährt ist das nachmittags an Wochentagen auch unproblematisch.
Die Ebbe (Tiefpunkt im Juli ab ca. 14:00 Uhr) raubt dem Hafenbecken von Pornic das komplette Wasser. Alle Schiffe und Brötchen liegen dann auf dem Trockenen im Schlick.
Pornic ist ein schönes Fischerdorf, dass mittlerweile hauptsächlich vom Tourismus lebt.
