I've been to the Fribourg mountains a few times and actually always went up via Cousimbert - Berra and only once to the Schwyberg... and I really wanted to change that, because there is a really cool official trail for the way down... 😎😁... When climbing up to the Schwyberg you usually have to be very…
😯😯😯.Incredible! How many chains do you burn through per year, erm, per month????
Thanks, just one 😂 because I don't change it like I should anymore.. I ride until it skips or is completely worn out by the end of the year at the latest.. It's cheaper and saves resources 😅
I tried last year to always change the chain according to the gauge, there were 4 and the pinion (cassette) was…

@Ivo Thank you 😃
Nice round Lars 👌🏼 I know the Schwyberg very well and it has now gained new trails. Under the name Biketrails Schwyberg Nordhang, many volunteers have officially created 3 additional trails👌🏼 in collaboration with authorities, foresters and owners to the existing trail from the BSO (trail that you…
@Brügger Thanks, yes I've heard about that.. However, the first time this year I wanted to play it safe with a long journey and take the well-known trail 😅 I really have to load up the bike and start from Plasselb or something to explore them all 😁😁
@Lars Däppen 🚴♂️Bio🚴♂️ yes, it makes sense to start from close up and inspect the other trails. The climb over Schmutzes Schwyberg was a good choice when the ground was wet and also the easiest from this side 👍🏻 over the Baretta it would be quite steep in places with large stones and a lot of earth…
@Brügger Thanks for the info, I don't think I need to go any closer than Plasselb, it never hurts to warm up a bit 🚴♂️😅
Yes, I really enjoyed the climb via Schmutzes Schwyberg. If there is another route like this, I'm always open to ideas 😅
