Schonach is a small community in the central Black Forest and a pearl for mountain bikers. The idyllic landscape, breathtaking views, refreshing springs, cozy places to stop for refreshments and last but not least great trails make the place and its surroundings a true bike paradise.

You will get to know this extensively on this long, demanding tour. It goes up and down, sometimes quite steep and in the end you collect 1,100 vertical meters. If you don't have as much time or want to spare your strength, you can shorten the tour well on the way. For example, you could use the small connecting road at the “Näbbe dus” courtyard café as a shortcut and save just under 20 kilometers and 400 meters in altitude.

By the way, Schonach is definitely worth a longer stay. Here you will find cozy accommodation and lots of sights. For example, the largest cuckoo clock in the world, the German clock museum, the Phonomuseum or simply a cozy café where you can enjoy the world-famous Black Forest cherry cake.
