Mountain Biking Highlight
Around Schonach, the bike shop "Bike-Ranch", in cooperation with trailers and bike manufacturers, has built some fine trails that you can combine to create a beautiful enduro round. North of Schonach is the "Kenda Trail". At the top of the Wilhemshöhe begins the "Kona Trail" and here, not far from the Langenwald ski jump, is the "Bike-Ranch Trail". From the end of this flowtrack you can just drive on to Schonach.
More information about the "Schonacher Trail Ride District" can be found here: bike-ranch.com/trail.html.

A total of three new trails with a fun factor can be ridden on an approximately 13-kilometer loop around Schonach.
The Bike Ranch Trail is a fun flow trail. It leads over North Shore elements (rock bridges and wave bridges made of wood) in a snake line down the mountain. The route is peppered with pumps, roulers and bends. Another trail that is great for beginners.

By far the best trail of the three around Schonach. It's fun, a little bit of everything ... even "chicken lines" although they are actually not really necessary. The trail is nice and flowing and the northshore elements are wide enough for beginners. Unfortunately it is a bit short, but that is not necessarily the problem ... At the end of the path up to the right, after about 200m it goes right back to the start. If you just want to ride the bike ranch trail and arrive by car, it's best to park at the ski jump. The other two trails can unfortunately be saved.
