The Bliesgau is always worth a hike. The Alexanderturm tour offers beautiful views of Bliesgau and at the end of the tour at the Kirchheimer Hof Bärlauch as far as the eye can see. Don't forget the bags.
A pleasant hiking trail with little difficulty and little adventure factor. The paths are wide, the signage is good and you really only pass the road for the last kilometer 😊. The tower is beautiful and you can learn a bit about its history from the signs. I wouldn't want to walk the path when it's very hot because there isn't enough shade. Otherwise, it's probably beautiful there when the trees are in bloom or the fruit is ready to be harvested.
This beautiful tour led to the highest elevation in the lower Bliestal, the around 400m high Kahlenberg. From the tower you have a great view of the Donnersberg and the Vosges. Unfortunately, only the base of the originally 26m high tower remains today as it was destroyed in the war. The path is well signposted from the start at the Breitfurt cemetery car park, and various benches and rest areas invite you to linger along the way. Great views along the entire route, really beautiful!
With the great weather, it should be a round with a view I found what I was looking for on this round. There is a passage in the forest that is a bit boring, but the rest of the round is very beautiful. There were lots of benches along the way to enjoy the view
The Alexanderturm tour is a really nice tour for those who are looking for peace and nature. Beautiful distant views over the Bliesgau to France and the Palatinate make this trail an insider tip! Top, top, top!
I decided to do another New Year's Eve lap at the last minute and was rewarded with great views, beautiful views and a great sky this evening. Moritz and I enjoyed it. 😌 At the end we slid down the meadow and the mountain....🫣....... almost until the new year! 🤭 You slide well too! 🎆🥂🍾🥂🎆
Once again we took advantage of the beautiful weather. However, as the “warmth” increased, the surface became more slippery 🫤
Beautiful Bliesgau views over rolling hills. Highlight: Alexanderturm.
