really nice hike near the Buttermere lake. Windy day with sudden rainfalls made it a bit difficult at some spots. The views from the top of the hills and the valley was really beautiful. The rain clouds indeed made the scenery even more beautiful.

The west ridge is by far the finest approach to Fleetwith Pike. The ridge rises straight from Gatesgarth Farm where there is good parking.
