I left Edinburgh and went through Holyrood Park. There is a lovely tarmac cycleway wooded with midges unfortunately bothering me so used my midge net.
From here I passed through Musselburgh with an impressive statue of a mussle.
The Levenhall Links are a bird haven and I even saw a large number of Swan which surprised me as I assume …
