The starting point was at the sports field in Geismar.

After a short stretch through the village, the trail continued along the processional path lined with linden trees, up to Hülfensberg with the pilgrimage church of St. Salvator and an inhabited Franciscan monastery. Rewarding views can be enjoyed from several points on the mountain.
