A lovely morning hike in the Loone Valley on the Neander Valley Trail! Nicely done Ice Age sculptures! There was always something to see! We stopped for refreshments in Lindenau!

Today we went from the Gasthaus Lindenau near Rammingen on the Neanderthal path. After an instructive tour through the very arid mixed forest, we went to the Bockstein viewpoint, then down a narrow path to the first cave of this tour, the Bockstein cave. Then always along the Lone... Or what is currently left after the dry months without snow... …

Very nice tour. The climbing animals are funny. Unfortunately, the block stone cave was not accessible due to a construction site.
Lunch at the restaurant in Lindenau tastes great

Hello everyone and a healthy new year 2025.

Today we went for a walk in the Lone Valley.

The Bockstein Cave is falling apart more and more. 3 years ago the hole on the side wasn't as big as it is now.

The climb up to the Bockstein Cave was quite slippery.
