Hi guys,
A standard little outing in the Montmorency forest, we did the tour of the known and recognized singles.
We ended up pretty burned out despite everything.

A good sporting tour!

Well I admit that between km 8.27 and 8.47 I got lost in the woods. Avoid taking the portion between 7.85 and 8.47; The trail has become non-existent!! It is filled with brush, brambles, fallen trees. Even the GPS was lost, I kept on the compass to get out of this segment.

The forest was owned by the Montmorencys until 1632, when Henri de Montmorency was executed, accused of conspiracy against Richelieu. On his death, the duchy was awarded to Henri de Bourbon-Condé, husband of the condemned man's sister.

Falling into the domain of the State during the Revolution, returned to the Prince of Condé in 1814, the forest was gradually fragmented …

Great organized hike, this is my second edition. The course was physically complicated. Besides, I made some changes to make it more fun but I paid dearly for it. The rekon race held the ground well but I will still change them for safety. The ground was muddy.
In short, in all that, it was a good hike plus there …

Hello to you,

It was time to take advantage of the dry paths, so on the way for a little walk in our favorite forest.

After doing my good St Maritain and saving a charitable soul in big trouble. Chain stuck between the cassette and that damn spoke protection. We tried everything, took out the multitouls, nothing to do. We …

- At km 6.53, I turned 90° left; in fact, I might as well have turned 100° left instead.
- At km 7.18, at the Plumet crossroads, instead of going straight down, it's better to take the descent on the left.
- At km 14.4, I continued straight to the Trou du Tonnerre parking lot, but it's really just a …

Starting point next to the church because there is room to park.
It was my first e-bike ride in this forest.
It's been 20 years since I touched a bike and I have "only" 600 kms on the clock in 2 months.
I found this ride quite technical, you have to know how to master your descents and not be …

I started recording my route from the Godard pond, I'm disappointed 😭. Hike that had 407 mountain bikers from memory and about 200 for the road. Lots of mud and slush. Course nothing to say almost well signposted (at times, there was a lack of precision). In total, the course must approach 800 D+. At the end of the track, …
