Nice tour 😊👍 from the Unternbergbahn valley station car park (€7 day ticket) to the Unternberg. Relatively easy to walk, mostly on wide roads and forest paths. But the view is very nice.

On St. George's Day in Ruhpolding, there were naturally many people out and about – a mass was also being held at the mountain rescue hut. Hike to the Unternbergalm for lunch. It takes about 1.5 - 2 hours to walk from the chairlift parking lot. Also easy to walk in winter.
The Alm itself is very well managed and offers good food at reasonable prices.
