We parked in a parking lot on a bend in the road. Crossing the street was a bit of an adventure.

The entire route followed excellent paths (some singletrack) through the forest. The trails were natural, which was very refreshing.

Along the way, there were several lovely benches with fantastic views, including one of the Donnersberg mountain.
