In addition to chilled non-alcoholic drinks, there are also distillates from the Bruder family (Kapelleck-Hof) and various snacks (e.g. peanuts). The non-alcoholic drinks can be accessed by cranking them, as they are stored in the ground for cooling.

February 22, 2025,🌿 Ortenau 📍Oberkirch 🧭 Geigerskopfturm 🏰 Schloss Staufenberg
Today we drove to Ortenau in the hope of enjoying a few rays of sunshine.
It was a nice, leisurely walk past many schnapps fountains and through the vineyards of Ortenau.
It is the longest route I have walked with my mom so far!

On the 3rd day of our hiking retreat, we went from Oberkirch through vineyards, past currant plantations and many chirping stations, to Staufenberg Castle and over the Geierskopf, with a small detour up to the Geietskopfturm, back to Oberkirch. The area around Oberkirch is so diverse, you have the Black Forest, the wide Rhine plain, France is only a stone's …

The round starts from the parking lot at Oberkircher Gymnasium, leads directly to the Geigerskopf Tower, and then over to Staufenberg Castle.

There is not much to say about this outstandingly beautiful tour. Just start walking in Bottenau yourself and enjoy the many great views and refreshment stations. A real highlight in our already beautiful region.

Fog in Freiburg and sun in the Ortenau. So we headed north and did this lovely circular tour. Very varied and with numerous drink stations. Lots of sun and beautiful views rounded it all off. It was very nice.

A really nice tour 🤩👍, about half of the time there was “wine / feather white and tarte flambée” as a refreshment / reward, very tasty with a great view😉
What has just "warmed up" for others while hiking was the maximum for both of us, car hiking is much less strenuous 😇😎🤩

Hello friends of cultivated hiking,

started at the train station in Oberkirch. The first few kilometers on asphalt up to kilometer 3.4, which of course is not quite as ideal.
The Eisenbahnstrasse heading west to the railroad crossing which I crossed. At the next crossing straight ahead into Renchallee. At the end of the street (km 0.5) I came across …

Despite the rain, it was a beautiful walk that should definitely be repeated when the sun is shining. Despite the rain, we had a good view of Strasbourg Cathedral and the panoramic view from the Geigerskopf tower was amazing.
