A very beautiful hiking trail for experienced hikers. The approximately 4km downhill section after passing the Brocken summit can be particularly challenging for your joints.

A different route to the Brocken. The evening atmosphere up there is unique, especially the hour after sunset. And then when the last steam locomotive puffs up the mountain...! And another highlight is the starry sky, if you're lucky 😀 But the way back to Torfhaus takes quite a while in the dark.
