Today we chose Dreetzsee to walk around and then hung along Carwitzer See for a bit. Beautiful tour, often right along the bank, there were lots of boulders everywhere, we even discovered a boulder garden.

Walked the beautiful circuit around the lake for the second time today. Unfortunately there were no raspberries left 😉. Due to the weather we stopped for a swim at the "Am Dreetzsee" campsite. The other places on the lake are not so good for swimming - there are stones and wood on the shore.

The water level is currently still very low, around 1.5 m is missing (according to a local walker).
Many lakes in the Feldberg lake landscape have “abundant” water levels...
Apparently the groundwater is not yet balanced.
By the way, the campsites in the area are highly recommended.

Beautiful hike from Thomsdorf to Carwitz and back on a bright Sunday. Almost always along the lake, deserted. Even the state border from Brandenburg to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania passed! A walker from Carwitz recommended the hiking route around the "Schmalen Luzin" to us, with a possible stop, we'll do that!
