After @DaTo recently showed some spectacular stork snapshots from the Leinepolder (komoot.de/tour/1055315056 ), I wanted to see the hustle and bustle with my own eyes (two natural and one artificial in the form of a camera lens) inspect. When the wind was fresh, daughter no. 1 and dad walked along the nature reserve.

The line has overflowed its banks. Surprising to us, the retention basin in Salzderhelden doesn't hold much water yet. A few geese fly around. They probably don't want to end up as a Christmas roast... 😂
