First it went up the Unstrut-Werra cycle path to Wendehausen, from there up the rear Kreuztal. Past an animal enclosure near Schierschwende and up to the Lindenhecke/ Rhönblick rest area. A very nice rest area with a large shelter, from here you have a wonderful view.
