A short hike along the Canal de la Bruche. From Avolsheim, we walk to the Dompeter, considered the oldest regional church in Alsace. A small basilica from the Merovingian period, it has been repeatedly rebuilt. The three-aisled, early Romanesque form dates back to around 1000.
