This tour is a true postcard adventure – starting from Krün, you enter a world of peace, space, and nature. The route winds along well-maintained bike paths and wide gravel roads through the Isar Valley, via Mittenwald, to the majestically situated Elmau Castle.

Today I drove in the Werdenfelser. A dream tour, the Karwendel or the Wetterstein massif or both in front of my eyes all day. Then the two castles, Kranzbach Castle and Elmau Castle. And three lakes, Barmsee, Ferchensee and Lautersee. I started the tour in Mittenwald where I parked the car at the train station.
