Josefsthal Waterfalls

Highlight • Waterfall

The waterfalls are really worth seeing. The circular route is highly recommended. Exciting, how the water seeks its way. We were traveling with the dog. He was also excited! ;)

Hachelbach Waterfalls

Highlight • Waterfall

After the Josefstaler waterfalls you can take a nice long break here at the Hachelbach. The children can play by the stream and the parents can relax.

View of the Spitzingsee

Highlight • Viewpoint

The Spitzingsee is a beautiful mountain lake and the starting point for many great hikes in the area, for example to the Croda Rossa.

Lake Spitzing

Highlight • Lake

The area around the Spitzingsee is one of the most popular hiking areas around Munich. Hikers have the choice of either walking directly on the shore or making a detour to the surrounding pastures, huts and mountains. I like to combine both activities and jump into the refreshing lake after the mountain hike. Always a recommendation, no matter what the season!

The view over the Spitzingsee up to the Brecherspitz is very nice, but the tour over the Brecherspitz is also worthwhile

Start at Neuhaus to the Josefsthaler waterfalls... mega 🌞 almost too hot for the body....

The first three "lake pictures are from Schliersee" 😃 return trip stop... it's just a different feeling than at Spitzingsee.

Nice round over the Spitzingsattel to the Josefsthaler waterfalls. Do not follow the signs at the Alm, but keep to the right in the direction of Josefsthal. Then you go uphill to the falls. Especially recommended after rain, as the path is slippery and a certain surefootedness is required. You can also enjoy the view of the falls. There are …
