Quaint fountain 💦

Highlight • Structure

Quaint fountain that doesn't have a gargoyle, at least in mid-April.

View of Plassenburg Castle

Highlight • Viewpoint

From the edge of the forest, you have this unique view of the castle. It doesn't appear as imposing and majestic as from other directions. Instead, it seems to nestle against the mountainside.

Patersberg Nature Trail

Highlight • Trail

The Patersberg adventure park begins at the hikers' car park at the end of Veitlahm, opposite the Waldorf school, and ends at the Patersberg tower. Very interesting and well presented. …

January 18, 2025,Wasserfall-Veitlahm - Patersberg - Schloss Wernstein
I started in Schmeilsdorf with nature covered in hoarfrost and a bright blue sky.

My first destination was the waterfall near Veitlahm. Unfortunately, due to a lack of water and frost, the ice formations were not as developed today as last year.

Showing Translation

@UdoS 🌏🕊: Unfortunately, the waterfall is already in the river, meaning it's melting extremely fast. So I couldn't wait until the Patersberg Café reopens on Saturday... 😅
