With dear friends from Griessee to Waltenbergstüberl in Seeon.

Beautiful paths through forest and meadow, past idyllic lakes. Watched birds, admired the first spring flowers, laughed and chatted a lot - what more could you want!? 🥰

Today from the parking lot🅿️ Seeon Monastery to the Weinberg viewing point. Then walked around the Griessee and back again to visit the Waltenbergstüberl café. The terrace was full, so we only got seats in the café. Back to the 🚘 over the footbridge, first walking around the monastery.

I knew Seeon Monastery primarily as a meeting place for the CSU, but it is picturesquely situated on a lake and has a beautiful church. This short hike leads mainly through shady forests and is a cool route, especially now in midsummer. There are several places to swim along the way - so don't forget your swimwear!
