A very nice view over the lake. In certain weather conditions it can be very windy here. But still a great place to enjoy the view on a walk or a round trip by bike.

April 4, 2024,Bad Malente - Plön
Today I hiked from Bad Malente to Plön on the E1 with a view of the lake almost all the time. The Schwentine flows through all the lakes I passed. The rain that started and didn't seem to stop ended the tour at Plön train station earlier than planned.

A "It's pretty cold in the wind over the lake" hiking tour.

Showing Translation

What a cold 🥶.

The starting point today was Malente train station and we went directly along the banks of the Dieksee, where there were curiosities to see. This was followed by Behler and Suhrer See, Höftsee, Großer Madebrökensee and at the very end the Großer Plöner See.

Stage 3 second part. From Plön I walked along lakes and through forests to Bad Malente, where I pitched my tent again. This time on the river bank.

Start: Plön train station
Destination: Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen train station

On this stage I do 7 in one go - 7 lakes to be exact. First of all, I am now officially paying a visit …
