Slizza Gorge Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

Beautiful bridge in Tarvisio over the Slizza and crossing point between the Alpe-Adria-Radweg FVG1 and the junction of the Bahntrassenradweg FVG1a in the direction of Slovenia. Very informative information boards about the cycling opportunities in the border region of Italy/Austria/Slovenia.

Very nice cycle path near Tarvisio, old railway line, now Alpe-Adria cycle path.
A perfect path, most beautifully in the direction of Tarvisio, Pontebba and almost as far as Venzone.

Italy–Austria Border Crossing (Thörl-Maglern – Tarvisio)

Highlight • Structure

Cycling along the Alpe Adria, here you cross the border between Italy and Austria. You are on a protected road that develops uphill. The mountain landscapes do not end with the border, indeed you always pedal immersed in the wonderful Alpine nature.
