As the elevation profile shows: it went up high 😉
A bit along the Alpe-Adria cycle path to Tarvisio and then left. Luckily there was little traffic.
Nice stop at Lago de Predil before the last few meters of elevation.
Over the pass and straight into the Triglau NP!
At this point you can see that Slovenia is mountainous.

Wow what an amazing landscape. I can only recommend Mangart Street to everyone. Unfortunately, due to a rock fall, it was not possible to drive all the way to the end, so that about 100 hm are missing. The alternative on the hiking trail would have been mobile, but it was too crowded...
