Lake Predil (or Raibl) is located about ten kilometers south of Tarvisio, in an ancient glacial basin. It is the second largest lake in the region after Lake Cavazzo.
The waters are clear and cold, a deep blue-green color; a small island, the remnant of a moraine arch, partly destroyed and partly submerged, creates a highly evocative landscape.translated by
