Beautiful tour, good parking, best to do the entire walk to the caves. We walked over the ridge, not a bad one but phenomenal view!

Plentiful source of water, tastes excellent; especially at the end of the tour. The dog is also happy.

Through a small advance you can go from the south side of the mountain range to the north side. The advance should be crossed about 80 meters in a low inclined position. The walls of the tunnel are roughly carved.

We are visiting our friend in Xaló 😀. To start with, we chose the route around the Bernia, which we already knew. Very beautiful paths, great views, a bit of scrambling in places and the highlight of crawling through the cave. A great tour 😀

Report of the guide:

Everyone was looking forward to the Bernia circumnavigation, which had to be canceled several times due to rain. 12 people who were hungry for hikes had gathered, and from the source – nice and cold water – we walked towards the tunnel as a donkey. Wild boar …

My 400th tour recorded with Komoot.
A good round to run with beautiful views. You have to walk the short way through the 'tunnel' crouched, almost on your knees. We had quite a bit of oncoming traffic on the route (many people start the hike at the 'Les cases de Bèrnia' car park and then walk clockwise from there; we …

Today it was time for one of our favorite tours again, the circuit of Bernia. The cave is a special highlight, the entrance is small, you have to crawl a bit and then the cave opens up with a great view of the bay of Altea and towards Benidorm. Then the path goes along the south side of Bernia, with …

The entire tour was 11 km long, before that my cell phone battery was empty.
Some sharp branches, thorns, hard leaves right on the path.
The middle part was in the shade and therefore pleasantly cool.
Tunnel cannot be passed upright.
