a short breakthrough makes it possible to change from the south side of the Bèrnia to the north side. The breakthrough is in a stooped posture about 80m to cross. The tunnel walls are roughly carved.
Beautiful views on both sides.

Absolutely good footwear

On this tour you have very beautiful views over the Costa Blanca. And also the tunnel is a highlight. Afterwards worth a visit to the "Verd i Vent" very delicious and good wine .......

Very nice route, but needs preparation. Firstly, i would advise to wear good shoes, as parts of the track are covered with loose stones. Secondly, i would advise to prepare for some serious heat if you want to do this trip in summer. We were here at Christmas, and even then with 20 degrees the sun was quite hot already on the rocky southern side. Luckily, most of the climbing is on the north side. Still, may be best to start in the morning, and finalize your trip with a paella afterwards at Refugio Vista Bernia (magnificent views on their terrace!).

Spectacular views, you have to do it in clear weather to enjoy the wonderful views.

Used to walk almost every year as a child. Tap water at the bottom, to the tunnel, crawl through it and return the same route.

A must when staying on the Costa Blanca.
