Frankenberg an der Eder is a pretty little town with an old town characterized by half-timbered houses and a really exceptionally beautiful town hall, and a new town with a pedestrian zone on the Eder. Unfortunately, Frankenberg is apparently unable to keep car traffic out of the old town, because then the venerable buildings there would be much better displayed.
