    Built from 1286 to 1380. A Gothic building based on the Marburg Elisabeth church, which completely burnt down in 1476 during the great Frankenberg fire. After a Hessen-wide appeal for donations by Landgrave Heinrich III. she was restored from 1478.

A building that has been recognized as a national cultural monument of the Federal Republic.
