I particularly liked the area in front of the cross, with the different trees, the meadow with the flowers, the other path that leads directly up from below. …

April 23, 2026,Etzenbach - Katzenstuhl - Enggründlekopf - Gablereck - Hörnle - Münstertal/Dietzelbach
Today I am taking a day off to lead this tour with 15 hikers from the Schwarzwaldverein Breisach. We travel by public transport into the lower Münstertal to Etzenbach. Here our chairman Tilmann joins us by bike and will accompany us to Gabler Eck before he cycles home again.

If you do this tour on foot 🥾, walk it clockwise like me.
if you go with the MTB, drive it to the left, then you go up a little less style (you have to buffalo soieso 🤣) and the descent is fun.

I took the route from a Komoot user, I just wanted to do something different to the usual Belchen tours. Thank you very much, dear Barbara, for putting together the tour, the trail to Gablereck and the view from the Köpfleweide shelter were particularly beautiful.

Great tour on almost exclusively narrow path. (Except for the 3 km between the campsite and Grunern) Lots of forest again and again with prospects and beautiful little huts.

Jo Petra and Werner as promised, I just had to repeat your tour. I've been following Petra's narrow paths for two years now and yes, they're tough because of the climbs and the beauty of the surroundings.
Always great routes.

Werner, one of our athletes in the group, also follows Petra's tour, yes, I just have to follow.

The rain radar looks reasonably good, so I'm taking the nice curvy route over the Stohren into the Münstertal and parking at the Belchen-Center. Of course, not without ulterior motives - in the end, I want to buy out the Gubor outlet!

But first, I walk along the little river Neumagen, then through the fields towards Grunern. Here begins …

One of my favorite routes on this side of the Munster Valley - up to the Katzenstuhl and the Enggründlekopf and then over the Riestersattel to the Gablereck. A wonderful route almost exclusively on narrow paths and there at the moment still leaf-free with a few views towards the Kaiserstuhl and Vosges and Hochblauen.
At the Gablereckhütte there is a …

Nicely described there and also with nicer photos.
Thanks again for the tour template.
