After a sumptuous, super-great breakfast (made with love)

The day had a few surprises - keyword:

At around kilometer 74, Komot had the idea of leaving the Vennbahn route and driving down a road into the valley, then pushing a well-trodden dirt road back up the opposite side to get back onto the Vennbahn route. The Vennbahn cycle path is really beautiful, but also undulating. Cycled to Monschau today in the dry 😄🥳 Monschau really is a cute little town 😍

Railway cycle path - beautiful, paved path, and you can see something of the landscape here... the connecting path from Monschau alone was more scenically appealing...

The second stage went great until km 116, where there are two steep ramps on the left up 10% 🥵
