It was a successful edition for me. From Kronenburgpark to the Snelbinder (railway bridge) the crowds of extra participants were noticeable. The last kilometer is a bend with a vicious climb, the Voerweg, especially when you really get through it is gritting your teeth. There the results of this event a special classification was made.

Today I ran the Stevensloop half marathon in a time of 1:36:53.
The route is different than last year. Here is a long loop along the water in the Ooijpolder and a loop in the lower city along the Waal. The last kilometer is a tough climb near Valkhof.
