I'm out in the Bavarian Forest this weekend with friends. My first hike today without the group was in the Höllenbachtal valley. It was a very beautiful and rustic starting point, with only about 80 meters of elevation gain. There were many rock formations in and around the Höllbach stream. A very worthwhile route that could be extended.
