Guys, how beautiful is the Ticino park, it's a real panacea to pedal and be captivated by the beauty that surrounds you... today I was pedaling and daydreaming... beautiful, very panoramic ride!

Today tour to Castelnovate, discovering a beautiful route along the Ticino, towards the north up to the Viscontina farmhouse which, for us MTBikers who go on pilgrimage to Panperduto .., is an excellent alternative to the paved road along the canal.

Showing Translation

Single track of the Castelnovate bend, comments:
- the northern part is a bit "wild" but passable;
- the next stretch is instead interrupted by the flooding of the Ticino river in flood, see photo;
- The sections to the west and south are instead clean and also made safe in a couple of places where the Ticino has eroded …

Exit that allows you to reach three scenographic and evocative places where the Ticino river offers visions of rare beauty:

- Anse di Castelnovate circuit.
- filarole and rapids of Nosate.
-Location Tre Salti/Tibetan bridge.

Pleasant temperature well above freezing (6° degrees) without ever suffering from the cold.
Perfect ride, thinking of other horizons in the future!

Today I wanted to go on a dirt road and I said to myself "even if there's mud I'll go anyway"... in truth I only found mud on the Tornavento moor then the Castelnovate tour was beautiful... very panoramic and surrounded by nature with the Ticino accompanying you on the long Singletrack ... for those who have never done it …

Showing Translation

Very simple tour that can be done with almost any type of bike, the dirt roads are not demanding therefore also suitable for gravel. The new banks of the Villoresi are beautiful and a beer at the Panperduto inn is always recommended.

Showing Translation

Ring of the two iron bridges: Oleggio and Turbigo. Beautiful exit starting from Panperduto, arriving in the Piedmontese territory in the municipality of Galliate. Mixed terrain: from the cycle path from the towpaths next to the canals (Industriale and Villoresi) to a gravel dirt road in perfect gravel style, passing through dense single track woods. Wonderful day from a meteorological …
