October 2, 2021,Bad Urach Wasserfallsteig
Starting from the waterfall train station up the Bad Urach waterfall, then on via trails and forest paths over the rocky slides to the Gütersteiner waterfall and back to the car park. Several rest stops and resting places are on the route. Unique view of the landscape structure of the Swabian Alb.

With this wonderful Sunday weather, the idea was to spend as much of our hike as possible in the glorious sunshine. We decided to aim for the Uracher waterfalls and I planned a hike along paths that we had not yet walked in this area. The start was to be at the car park by the waterfall. But we were …

Today you could probably see the most beautiful icicles in the region at the two waterfalls. Cloudy below, sunny above 🧊😄

Danger! This tour is not recommended on ice without Grödel (light crampons).
The steps to the waterfall are partially covered with bare ice. It will definitely get smoother in the next few days.

The round is wonderful in the evening, it's just so nice at home.

Although the Urach waterfall is just a shadow of itself, the sun barely comes over the mountain and the Güterstein waterfall drips down miserably, it was a nice, calm and relaxed hike today. Maybe because all the huts were closed and you weren't distracted by cakes and the like. 😄

Of course, the classic must not be missing on vacation. It was so nice, icicles, snow, water and a stop at the Rohrauer Hütte. Couldn't be better...
