The blackberry season has opened. Nibbling on berries, we hiked uphill towards the monastery, past some ruins and with views again and again.
A wonderful place, up there on the mountain.
It continues along the Heidenmauer, through beech and pine forests to the Maennelstein viewing rock.

Hello mountains ⛰️ we had a 3 day break with 2 times rain - but the arrival day was great.
We had planned to watch the sunset at the Höferspitze, but we were a bit too early and a bit unrelaxed about walking back downhill in the dark.

A warm full moon night under the starry sky.... sleeping outside is simply beautiful.

Judith planned the Auerhahnweg trail in Tennenbronn for us - with a Kneipp pool and village pond to cool down. Today we fled into every shadow... what heat. It was beautiful nonetheless

Today we only had time for a short afternoon round on the Michaelsberg.
