What an experience!
Almost the entire route between Saumur and Turquant is built with dwellings carved into the rock.
We reached the area of the rock dwellings via paths that were, for me, sometimes adventurous (20% incline and then 15% decline). Right from the start, a really beautiful place to linger and enjoy 😍.
Everything was impressive! A little fun …
